Hyundai has commenced testing the new 2020 Creta in India, which will be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, prior to its launch next year.

Hyundai is gearing up for the launch of the new generation Creta next year, which has already made its way in the Chinese market. It gets a complete makeover with new features and new engines as well.

Ahead of the launch, we have some exclusive spy shots of the new 2020 Hyundai Creta, doing rounds in Delhi NCR. The spy shots indicate that it gets a new alloy wheel design as well, but this one looks for the mid-spec trims.

Just like is the scenario with the current Creta, the mid-spec S variant gets optional alloy wheels which are silver painted. The high-end variants come with diamond-cut alloy wheels. The base variants will continue with wheel caps.

Also noticeable in these shots are the new LED tail lamps and new projector headlamps. The new 2020 Hyundai Creta now gets its styling similar to the Venue with sharper front and rear bumpers, a more boxy-SUV look and new cascading grille.

Inside the cabin as well, there are major changes. The dashboard looks completely refreshed with lesser knobs and more digital. You have a new touchscreen infotainment with fully digital speedometer and flat-bottom steering wheel.

Under the hood, Hyundai is going to equip the new 2020 Creta with three engines. It will be the BS-6 compliant 1.5 Litre petrol and diesel engines from the Seltos. A 6-speed manual gearbox will come as standard and additionally, the petrol motor will get a CVT gearbox and the diesel with an AT torque-converter unit.
