2020 Hyundai Creta Vs Kia Seltos

Kia Seltos gets these five big highlights or features that you would not find even on the top-end variant of 2020 Hyundai Creta.

Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta are literally siblings, sharing the same platform, engines and even the gearbox options. However, there are still a couple of differences between both of them that differentiates their buyers. The biggest one is the styling or design language. While Seltos has a proper sporty look, its the Creta that looks more classy.

2020 Hyundai Creta Vs Kia Seltos

Both share the same 1.5 Litre petrol and diesel engines along with the 1.4 Litre turbo-petrol motor. The power figures are very similar with differences of 1-2 PS. If we compare the price too, they are just about some thousands away from each other. So, moving ahead, these are the 5 highlights of Kia Seltos that you don’t get on the new Hyundai Creta.

5 Highlights Of Kia Seltos That You Will Not Get With 2020 Hyundai Creta

1. Turbo Petrol Engine With Manual Gearbox

Seltos and Creta share the same 1.4 Litre TGD-I turbo petrol engine that produces 143 PS. However, Seltos Turbo gets the options of a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT. As for the Creta, it only gets the DCT gearbox. Despite DCT gearbox being very common in turbo petrol cars, it still does not have any chance beating a manual gearbox.

2. Blind Spot Monitor

Blind Spot Monitor is a segment first feature which comes on very premium cars like Volvo. Cameras are installed on the ORVMs which are activated once you put the turn indicators. You can see the view on the infotainment system. This is found on the top-end GTX trims only.

3. Heads Up Display

This is another premium segment-first feature. Again, on the top-end GT Line trims, you get Heads-Up Display (HUD). On this small transparent screen above the dashboard, you can see the speed, gear position, trip meter and much more.

4. Interior Mood Lighting

It may not be a very important feature but just adds up to the beauty of the cabin. Even on the mid-spec trims, you get interior mood lighting. It can be set according to the speed, the beats of the music you are playing or standard colour. There are more than 10 colours to choose from.

5. 360-Degree Parking Camera

This is a new feature that is seen among a lot of upcoming cars. Creta only offers rear parking sensors and a rear parking camera. Kia Seltos goes with a 360-degree parking camera with four cameras installed over the body. This is very helpful when it comes to parking in tight spots and you can also see the blind spots.
