Royal Enfield has launched the โ€˜Make-It-Yoursโ€™ 3D configurator app which makes personalization of your new RE motorcycle a whole lot easier. Currently, in its initial phase, Royal Enfield has rolled the app only on the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650.

If Mahindra Thars are the most customized cars on Indian roads, then Royal Enfields are the same in the motorcycle world. A majority of Royal Enfield motorcycles are customized with aftermarket parts almost immediately after they are bought from the showroom. Royal Enfield has always been aware of this trend, and earlier this year, we reported to you that RE intends to offer mass personalization on their products at the factory level so that customers do not have to go to aftermarket modifiers.

To that effect, Royal Enfield has now launched the โ€˜Make-It-Yoursโ€™ 3D configurator app which makes personalizing your new RE motorcycle just got a whole lot easier. With this app, you can personalize your Royal Enfield motorcycle with genuine RE accessories to go along with your motorcycle right at the time of booking. In fact, you can directly book your motorcycle using the app, check your delivery timeline and also place a service request via the app.

Royal Enfield is offering quite an expansive array of accessories and you can choose from a number of permutations and combinations including your color scheme, trims and graphics to go with your motorcycle. After you have specked your motorcycle to your taste and booked the same, the motorcycle will then be built to the customer’s specifications, with 24 to 48 hours, at RE manufacturing plant in Chennai.

Currently, in its initial phase, Royal Enfield has rolled the app only on the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. The upcoming Meteor 350 will be the next motorcycle to benefit from this app. In fact, the launch of the Meteor 350 has been delayed so that it can be launched with this app for the motorcycle, so customers have the options of personalizing right when the motorcycle is launched. The app will also be rolled out to rest of the lineup in a phased manner.

The โ€˜Make-It-Yoursโ€™ 3D Configurator app is available for both Android and iOS devices. Royal Enfield is also offering the same service on their official website – www.royalenfield.com – or you can even visit any 320-Plus RE dealership across the country ย to configure your bike.ย You can also ย opt for an extension of warranty and annual maintenance contract (AMC) packages via the app. This app will be a huge catch for a lot of buyers considering the part are genuine Royal Enfield parts and it allows each motorcycle to be individually specked, and thus be unique.
