Maruti Ertiga turns turtle after hitting a Mahindra Bolero Neo. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in this mishap.

The Bolero has not been crash-tested by the GNCAP but it wears a Mahindra badge which signifies strong and rugged build quality.

A Maruti Ertiga was captured hitting a Mahindra Bolero Neo and toppling over. The Ertiga boasts of a decent 3-star safety rating at the GNCAP, while the Mahindra Bolero has not been crash-tested yet. Ertiga is a top-selling MPV in the country that has recently received an update. Mahindra Bolero also got a new name, Bolero Neo, replacing the TUV300 in our market. In this incident, the build quality of these vehicles has been tested.

Maruti Ertiga Hitting A Mahindra Bolero Neo

Nikhil Rana has posted this video on his YouTube channel where he keeps updating such content to reveal real-life performances of popular cars to raise awareness regarding road safety in India. According to the details of this crash, it took place on the Solapur-Aurangabad highway Osmanabad Bypass in Maharashtra. The Maruti Ertiga hit the Mahindra Bolero Neo which was crossing the highway. After hitting the Bolero slightly, the driver successfully managed to avoid hitting a scooty. But this caused the MPV to topple over and land roof-first on the highway. The damage to the car is quite heavy but the Bolero only managed to get minor damage on the left side of the bonnet and fender. Thankfully, though, both the cars protected their occupants well and no one was seriously injured in this case.

The Maruti Ertiga recently received a mid-life facelift and now comes with an updated K-Series 1.5-litre petrol engine with smart hybrid technology that churns out 103 PS and 137 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties are carried by a 5-speed manual or a new 6-speed automatic gearbox. There are paddle shifters for manual controls too. The new mild-hybrid engine has a mileage of above 20 km/l and also comes with the CNG powertrain. The prices of the Ertiga range from Rs 8.35 lakh to Rs 12.79 lakh, ex-showroom.
