In the current iteration, the Mercedes E-Class comes with varied powertrain options. This includes a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 194 hp and 320 Nm, a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 192 hp and 400 Nm and an AMG line 3.0-litre 6-cylinder mill that outputs 282 hp and 600 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. All these engines come mated to a 9-speed G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The prices range from Rs 75 lakh, ex-showroom.
