Apart from road regulations, riding a bike without a helmet is extremely dangerous, especially in a country like India. Indian roads are very unsafe for two-wheelers. In 2016, over 50,000 two-wheeler riders lost their lives in road accidents. Whether you are driving a bike or sitting in the back seat, please wear a helmet and other safety gear. While throwing a chappal is not the best way to stop traffic violations, the viral video has spread a lot of awareness on the subject.
