Aftermarket digital automobile artists have a way of designing unique and appealing iterations of popular cars and this is a prime example of it.

Here is the digital iteration of the 2023 Tata Safari facelift. Safari has been a popular product among car enthusiasts in India since its inception. However, with the passage of time, other SUVs started arriving in this segment and the Safari lost its charm a little bit. In a bid to overcome that, Tata Motors is working on a facelift version and it has been spied testing on many occasions. But until the final model appears in the flesh, we will have to make do with digital illustrations like this one. Here are the details.

This rendition has been delivered by Bagrawala Designs on YouTube. In all fairness, the automobile designer has taken the essence of the design language of Tata Motors, both existing and upcoming and applied it to this project. For instance, Tata revealed the Avinya EV last year which had the new Tata logo. The digital artist has installed it on this concept which forms the main highlight of this SUV at the front. There is a full-width LED strip representing the ‘T’ of Tata Motors running above the front grille with tri-arrow motifs. This light strip forms the LED DRLs on the sides.

Apart from that, the position of the main headlamp cluster is almost similar to the existing model but the layout and appearance have been modernised and one could clearly see the distinction. It is a vertically-oriented unit fitted into a large housing giving a rugged character to the SUV. The rugged skid plate completes the imposing road presence that this SUV oozes. On the sides, one could witness the new set of alloy wheels with a somewhat similar pattern to the existing model. The side profile is dominated by the tall-boy stance which is accentuated by the roof rails.

At the rear, the overall silhouette remains the same as the current model but there are modern elements including a large ‘T’ insignia finished in chrome. It is positioned intricately between the split-LED taillamps that form the wrap-around design. These are connected via a thin LED lightbar which is encapsulated inside a glass panel for a modern look. Finally, there are two exhausts (which could be fake) on the sturdy skid plate with light reflectors that complete the SUV appearance. We could expect some of these elements to make it to production. Also, the Came Edition paint scheme helps enhance the looks of the SUV.
