There are people who love to modify their cars to such an extent that the vehicles look nothing like how they were purchased.
This weird Maruti Dzire vs Tata Safari mashup is certainly nothing like anything you will ever see! While that may sound like a bold statement, you will understand why we say that after you witness these images. Dzire is the most fuel-efficient and popular compact sedan in the country. In fact, it is also the preferred choice of fleet operators for that very reason. On the other hand, Safari is a rugged family SUV that features toward the premium end of the market. But what is the outcome when these two meet?

Maruti Dzire vs Tata Safari Mashup
This design has been conceptualized by worst.spec.india on Instagram. We have to agree that this is one of the most bizarre-looking modifications on any car. At the front, the bits that are borrowed from the older version of the Safari include the headlamp cluster and some parts of the grille. The orange and off-white colour combination definitely renders this machine a retro look. Apart from that, the front fascia has been altered a lot with an odd grille and bumper area. On the sides, the fenders are quite beefy.

There are 5-spoke alloy wheels that are unchanged from the regular model. Toward the rear, one could see that the area behind the C-pillar has been made chunkier with the addition of some metal. That is aimed at making the sedan look like an SUV. To be honest, this panel is not raked but sloping which is what we see in Coupe SUVs. But in this iteration, it just looks out of place and is not elegant or premium.

In addition to that, the rear section consists of the stock taillamps of the Dzire but the spare tyre has been mounted on the boot lid, reminiscent of the older Safari. In fact, hardcore off-roaders have this layout which is better than putting it under the body. The exhaust tip also looks modified. All in all, this has to be the craziest transformation that we’ve seen in a long time. In all fairness, we are not sure if we are huge fans of this project as this makes the final product neither a Dzire nor a Safari.
