Maruti Suzuki Swift is all set to get a new update this year. Additionally, the Swift Sport is set to arrive in 2024.

Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most popular cars in the Indian market. It has a separate fanbase for different versions of the car. Now, Maruti plans to add two new models of Swift in India. Recent reports claim that the company plan to launch the fifth-generation Swift this year itself. Additionally, it is working on an all-new Maruti Swift Sport variant, which will be launched in 2024. Fifth-Generation Maruti Suzuki Swift

The new update is expected to feature significant changes inside-out. According to recent leaks and reports, the fifth-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift is getting a new front grille and bumper that will offer a more aggressive appearance. These will be accompanied by sleeker headlights, halogen fog lamps and LED DRLs. On the back, the new hatchback will get a redesigned bumper with faux carbon fibre skid plates and a twin exhaust system. Overall, the exterior design language is getting more stylish with rounded edges.

On the inside, the next-gen Maruti Swift is said to get a totally new dashboard with a new touchscreen infotainment system and an all-new instrument cluster. It will feature black leather upholstery with red stitching. The company is reportedly using carbon fibre components to accentuate the car’s sporty theme. The flat-bottom steering wheel is likely to get carbon fibre inlays as well. Additional features will include automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, and connected car features. The fifth-Generation Maruti Suzuki Swift will likely be powered by a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine. For transmission, it will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT gearbox. The company might also bring a new mild hybrid system to offer an extra boost and enhance fuel efficiency.

2024 Suzuki Swift Sport

This version is bound to feature an even more aggressive appearance than the standard model. The front bumper and grille are said to get a complete redesign with distinctive sharp features. It will also feature a new rear bumper with faux carbon fibre skid plates. Additionally, Maruti is adding a new set of alloy wheels and a roof spoiler. Overall, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift Sport will feature an athletic look. A similar theme will be carried on the inside, with carbon fibre components, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and sports seats with red accents.

For transmission, it will come with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic option. This model might also get Maruti’s new mild hybrid system to offer extra power and improved fuel efficiency.
