Even though the Maruti Invicto is based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, an artist hs reinterpreted the MPV in a off-road SUV format

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, the nation’s largest-selling carmaker, has launched a new flagship in the form of the Invicto. Available at a starting price of Rs 24.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the new model is based on the Toyota Innova Hycross. It’s available in Zeta+ and Alpha+ trims. Basis the donor vehicle, the Invicto should impress with its reliability as well as comfort. This, along with other traits like those of spaciousness and high equipment levels, should make the new model a well-sorted MPV. However, an artist has reimagined the Invicto as an SUV, giving it a decidedly bold off-road-ready flavour.

The visuals seen on the page are a work of Bagrawala Designs on Youtube. The artist has essentially reimagined the new MPV in an off-roader guise. First things first, the Invicto has been raised using a lift kit. It now wears off-road-spec wheels with XL-size tires. Up front, the Hycross-based MPV has been given an off-road spec metal bumper with a pronounced bull-bar and tow hooks. Moreover, the grille has been adorned with marker lights. In the profile, the concept features flared wheel arches along with metal side steps. A snorkel along with a luggage box perched atop a roof carrier round off the updates.

Overall, the artist has been successful in transforming an MPV into an SUV that looks read for some mud plunging action. However, one must understand that this concept is simply a figment of someone’s imagination and exists only digitally. While carrying out a similar modification might not be impossible, it will surely incur a high expense. Moreover, such customisations should be carried out only by expert customisers who have experience of handling such mod jobs.
