I glanced upon this unique and enticing widebody concept of the Tata Harrier. Note that it uses the pre-facelift unit as the donor model. Digital artists showcase their talent by crafting captivating interpretations of diverse cars, a trend I’ve been covering for quite some time. The commendable skill possessed by these automobile designers is truly noteworthy. What sets virtual renditions apart is their freedom from physical constraints, allowing the artist’s creativity to shine. Let us delve into the specifics of this latest transformation.

This attractive iteration comes from zephyr_designz on Instagram. There are numerous elements in this illustration which draw the viewers in. I like the detailing on the rear section of this SUV. There are connected LED taillamps covering the entire width of the tailgate. In addition, the sporty bumper, the custom aero elements on the rear fender, the rear diffuser, and the quad exhaust system ensure that the overall stance of the vehicle is mean and aggressive. It is not your typical tall-boy SUV. I can’t help but notice the low-profile Advan Neova tyres on the black Vorsteiner VFF 107 alloy wheels.

At the front, the sleek LED DRL strip runs the width of the SUV. It sits perfectly well on the compact grille with the Tata logo. Apart from that, I like the way the bumper has been designed with a slim black strip dividing it into two parts. The main headlamp cluster almost seems hidden on the extreme edges of the bumper and the radiator grille looks neat too. Finally, I appreciate the splitter underneath the front bumper to protect the underbelly on off-roading excursions. The designer takes particular pride in offering this digital avatar with a matte black roof. It lends a completely sporty and aggressive demeanour to the SUV.

Both the Harrier and Safari maintain their current powertrains, relying on the well-established 2.0-litre Kryotec turbo diesel engine sourced from Fiat. This engine delivers a strong performance, generating 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. Tailoring to your preferences, you can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a torque converter automatic transmission. Beyond their transmission options, these SUVs come with terrain response capabilities, various drive modes, and ADAS active safety features. It’s worth noting that a turbo petrol engine is allegedly currently in the development phase. The price range for the Harrier spans from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 26.44 lakh, ex-showroom.
