new tata harrier faces errors in 1 day-2

A Tata Harrier facelift owner was left utterly frustrated by the errors he claims encountering in the SUV on day 1. Tata Motors recently launched the facelift version of the Harrier and Safari. Note that these are the flagship SUVs from the Indian auto giant in our market. People are drawn to their road presence and styling along with the latest tech and convenience features. They also bagged full 5-star safety ratings at the Bharat NCAP. However, an owner is reporting some shocking issues with a 1-day-old Harrier. Let’s dive into the details.

Errors in New Tata Harrier Facelift

This video emerges from Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel features content around road safety and related content around automobiles. This time around, a rather disappointing case surfaces from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. A certain Nehul Choudhary purchased the Fearless Dark AT trim of the new Tata Harrier facelift from Delhi. After taking the delivery, he drove to his house in UP. As he parked the car in his garage after driving for around 170 km, he shows that the SUV displayed an error and refused to start again. Note that the owner took the delivery just a few hours earlier.

Witnessing this, he called the service centre. The staff arrived the next day and commenced diagnosing the issue. Unfortunately, the owner alleges that they were not able to detect the exact reason for this error in a brand-new vehicle. They decided to tow the SUV to the service centre. However, since the SUV was parked in a tight space, Nehul mentions that the Tata Motors officials asked the owner to take responsibility for any damage to the SUV while the towing vehicle pulled the SUV out of the garage. The Harrier owner mentions that all these shenanigans frustrated him utterly.

Author’s Note

Now we would like to refrain from commenting on this case. The reason for that is quite simple. While we understand the irritation of the owner, we are still not aware of the entire saga. Sure, the anger is obviously understandable that such an issue can occur in a car worth Rs 30 lakh just hours after the delivery. All we can hope is that Tata Motors looks into this case and resolves it as soon as possible. This will help prevent its image from being tarnished.
