Maruti Jimny Convertible Imagined

This Thar-like convertible iteration in which the Maruti Jimny has been imagined, looks uber-cool. Digital automobile artists often use the Jimny as a blank canvas to display their creativity. The Jimny has a long history of more than fifty years. In India, we first met this iconic vehicle in its second-generation form called the Gypsy, which remains popular among off-road fans. Now, Maruti Suzuki brings us the fourth-generation Jimny, which includes a practical 5-door version, marking a big step forward in its evolution. Let’s dive into the specifics of this digital rendition.

This post comes from octane9tfive on Instagram. It captures a rather enticing digital avatar of the popular Jimny. As soon as you look at this digital Jimny, you will notice that the rear section is unique. In fact, beyond the front doors, the automobile artist has showcased his own creativity. The rear doors, roof and the compartment have been removed. In stead, it gets a convertible layout which is reminiscent of the Mahindra Thar. The sturdy rods provide stability by connecting the side pillars. You could only be able to close this using a soft-top.

Apart from that, there are a bunch of modifications to the overall exterior. Starting from the front fascia, the round headlamps and the Suzuki logo have been tweaked in this avatar. The additional fog lamps with dual lights on the bumper will be helpful in night driving to remote areas. The bumper itself looks rugged with a hint of skid plate. There is also a hood scoop and turn indicators mounted on the fenders. On the sides, the colossal wheel arches steal the limelight. Even the wheels feature an innovative layout. The side profile also consists of side steps to facilitate the ingress and egress for the passengers. All in all, this is an exciting illustration of what the convertible Jimny would look like.
