According to a recent study by Frost & Sullivan, the maintenance costs of Kia Seltos and Carens are lower than their rivals in their respective segments. That is a huge finding in a country like India where people take into consideration the running costs prior to making the decision to buy a new car. Indian car owners want great value-for-money deals. Hence, they look for the best features, styling, mileage and maintenance cost figures while purchasing any new car. That plays a huge role in the way potential car owners make their choice. Let us take a look at the details of this latest study.

Maintenance Costs of Kia Seltos and Carens

Frost & Sullivan is Indiaโ€™s top Growth Advisory Company. It has revealed that the Seltos and Carens offer the best ownership costs in their respective segment in both, diesel and petrol variants. As per this report, Carens owners are able to get 21% and 26% lower ownership costs in comparison to the average for this segment in petrol and diesel variants, respectively. That ensures that you experience the segment-best maintenance irrespective of which trim you go for.

Similarly, the Seltos (in petrol trims) provides a significant 17% lower maintenance cost than the average in its segment. Note that having the lowest maintenance in a segment which has tons of worthy rivals including the likes of Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor and Honda Elevate is no mean feat. The study also found that the petrol and diesel variants of the Sonet compact SUV have 16% and 14% lower maintenance costs, respectively than the average in its segment. Hence, Kia’s top-selling vehicles offer a great deal to owners looking for cars with the lowest maintenance costs in their corresponding segments.
