Digital automobile artists have a knack for thinking outside the box and coming up with unique avatars of regular cars.
A prominent digital artist has created a rather attractive and utilitarian version of the dual-cab Maruti Jimny. Jimny is one of the most successful lightweight off-roaders on the planet. It has been around for over 5 decades in the international markets. However, it arrived in India in the 5-door version for the first time in its history. Clearly, Indians love practical cars. To enhance that aspect even further, an automobile artist has demonstrated their creativity by devising a dual-cab pickup truck iteration.

Dual-Cab Maruti Jimny
This post comes from theottle on Instagram. The details of this unique model are quite minute. In fact, the artist has ensured that this illustration doesn’t wander too far away from the original production model. At the front, this rendering gets almost an identical fascia as the regular Jimny. There are vertical slats, round headlamps, a rectangular grille, a rugged bumper with round fog lamps, a clamshell bonnet and tiny round turn indicators. In essence, the retro theme of the older Jimny continues.
On the sides, there are ginormous wheel arches with broad cladding, boxy silhouette, creaseless door panels, and an extended wheelbase to fit in a cargo bed. The tailgate gets a noticeable Suzuki lettering. The bumper is quite rugged but compact which accentuates the departure angle. Interestingly, the alloy wheel design seems like it has directly been borrowed from the regular Jimny. All in all, I really appreciate the believable aspects of this rendering. The artist has done a great job in ensuring that they don’t go overboard with customizations. In all honesty, I could totally see something like this make it to production.

We keep coming across talented automobile artists who bring their fresh perspectives into the mix to create unique iterations of cars we see on a daily basis. This is one such case. In fact, concepts like this dual-cab Maruti Jimny even make a strong case for the carmaker to look into the possibility of whether something like this could actually work or not. In any case, we are delighted to witness this rather modest but utilitarian digital concept of the Jimny.
