The Hyundai Exter has received two new variants in its lineup – S+(AMT) and S(O)+ (MT). These will elevate the accessibility quotient of the micro SUV. Note that Hyundai always offers its vehicles with tons of variants. This ensures that everyone finds exactly what they are looking for. It is a way to widen the accessibility of a product. The Exter has been quite successful for the Korean auto giant in our market since its inception. People really took a liking to the feature-rich SUV. Hyundai Exter Gets New S+(AMT) and S(O)+ (MT) Variants

These are, essentially, specific mid-level trims. In fact, these are priced towards the middle and top of the entire lineup to enhance accessibility. The S(O)+ with manual transmission has a price tag of Rs 7,86,300, while the S+ with AMT gearbox retails for Rs 8,43,900. Both these are ex-showroom prices. The main features of these trims are:

Specs

The Hyundai Exter comes with all sorts of engine and transmission options. These include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol or a 1.2-litre bi-fuel (petrol + CNG) engine. These produce 83 PS / 113.8 Nm and 69 PS / 95.2 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. The former is available with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox, whereas the latter is available with a sole 5-speed manual transmission. The prices range from Rs 6.13 lakh to Rs 10.43 lakh, ex-showroom.
