The Kwid has been a consistent volume churner for the French auto giant since 2015
Renault has launched a special 10th Anniversary Limited Edition of the Kwid in India. The entry-level Renault car has been quite popular among the masses. To keep it fresh, the French car marque has updated it from time to time. As a consequence, the customers have remained interested in the compact car. Going forward, Renault could also bring the electric avatar of the Kwid to rival the MG Comet. For now, let us take a look at the details of this special edition model along with the changes to the existing variant lineup. Note that only 500 units of this limited edition will be manufactured.
Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Limited Edition
To celebrate 10 years of Renault Kwid in India, the company has introduced a 10th Anniversary Edition of the hatchback. Only 500 units will be produced, available exclusively in the Techno variant. The limited edition comes at Rs 5.14 lakh for the manual and Rs 5.63 lakh for the AMT version (ex-showroom). It is offered in two dual-tone paint options – Fiery Red with a Black Roof and a new Shadow Grey with a Black Roof. Black Flex Wheels, anniversary decals on the doors and C-pillar, and a yellow grille insert add to the unique look. With these options, the KWID also becomes the most affordable dual-tone car in India.
Inside, the cabin carries a celebratory theme. It features anniversary-branded seat upholstery with yellow highlights, a leatherette steering wheel with contrast stitching, and matching accents on the infotainment frame and door trims. Illuminated scuff plates and puddle lamps further enhance the special edition’s appeal. Beyond the limited model, Renault has made updates across the KWID range. All seats now come with three-point seatbelts. The Climber variant gets six airbags, improving safety further. Renault has also renamed the variants – Evolution (previously RXL), Techno (previously RXT), and Climber. Prices for the range start at Rs 4.29 lakh, while the AMT variant begins at Rs 4.99 lakh.
