The post stems from Indian_autozome on Instagram. The visuals showcase the electric SUV parked on the roadside wearing a thick covering. It looks like the wrap is concealing the black elements, reminiscent of something like a Black Edition version. At the front, we can recognize the familiar fascia we saw on the e Vitara during the unveiling event. This includes striking LED DRLs with LED headlamps and a sporty bumper. Furthermore, the side section contains unique alloy wheels along with relatively uneventful side body panels. Finally, the tail section carries a roof-mounted spoiler and connected LED taillamps.

The electric SUV comes with two battery pack options – 49 kWh or 61 kWh. Based on the new HEARTECT-e platform with eAxle (3-in-1 unit including inverter, motor and transmission), the EV can be purchased in 2WD or AWD guises. The power and torque figures range from 142 hp / 189 Nm to 172 hp / 189 Nm to 181 hp / 300 Nm (AWD). To ensure decent capabilities to tackle Indian roads, the ground clearance of 180 mm should be enough. The carmaker claims a range of around 500 km on a single charge. The price details will be available at the launch.
