As a consequence, the talented digital artists have tried to devise a production model based on the teaser. At the front, we see the massive Tiger Nose grille flanked by LED DRLs on the extreme edges, while the main LED headlamps are concealed neatly within the grille section itself. Down below, there is a sporty bumper with a rugged skid plate. The side profile is partially visible, too. Here we see sturdy side body claddings, striking alloy wheels, black side pillars and faux roof rails. Finally, the tail end contains a roof-mounted spoiler, a shark fin antenna, connected LED taillamps and an adventurous skid plate on the bumper. We shall wait for the Korean auto giant to officially launch the new-gen Seltos in our market in the coming days.

It rivals the mighty Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, the new Maruti Victoris, Honda Elevate, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and more. This is one of the most brutal segments in our market. In this latest video clip, the front fascia of the new Seltos has been captured. It embodies a broad grille with a rugged bumper and striking LED headlamps. More details will emerge on December 10, 2025.
New 2026 Kia Seltos Officially Teased Ahead of Dec 10 Debut
Updated on 01.12.2025 – The new 2026 Kia Seltos has finally been officially teased. The visuals capture a more dynamic silhouette with bits of modern elements. These include things like a new Digital Tiger Face grille, a new LED lighting setup at the front including DRLs and headlamps, signature Star Map lighting, aerodynamic body, a more muscular stance and sharper lines. In essence, there will be enough distinctions on the new Seltos to set it apart from the existing model. More details will arrive on December 10, 2025.
New 2026 Kia Seltos Spied Ahead of December 10 Debut
Originally published on 13.11.2025 – The upcoming new-gen Kia Seltos was spotted performing road tests ahead of the December 10 debut in Korea. We know that the first-gen model saw its global debut in India. Going by the images from timesofindia, it is clear that the new mid-size SUV will bear significant changes in terms of styling in comparison to the existing model. At the front, we see a massive Tiger Nose grille with LED headlamps and LED DRLs flanking it. Down below, it appears that the SUV carries a sporty bumper.
On the sides, we are able to figure out a few aspects despite the heavy camouflage. For instance, the faux roof rails, black alloy wheels and black side pillars accentuate the road presence. In terms of dimensions, I believe there won’t be much of a difference in contrast to the current model. Finally, the tail end is wrapped in a thick covering and we are unable to deduce any useful information. More details will emerge in the coming days.
On the inside, we know that Kia likes to equip its vehicles with all the latest tech and convenience amenities and the new Seltos won’t be any different. We can expect a dual 12.3-inch display layout (for driver’s instrument cluster and infotainment system), premium upholstery, use of soft-touch materials, new dashboard layout, panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, dual-zone climate control, premium audio system, ventilated seats, and much more.
Next-Gen Kia Seltos Spotted Highway Testing
Updated on 03.11.2025 – The next-gen Kia Seltos was spied performing a highway run in the latest occurrence. Seltos is among the most successful mid-size SUVs in the country. In this recent event, we came across the test mule courtesy of bharattorque_ on Instagram. The visuals capture the SUV wrapped in a thick camouflage. It is being driven adjacent to a mini truck. At the front, the striking LED DRLs are barely visible through the heavy cover. Apart from that, the prominent grille section is also partly apparent.
Down below, the horizontal elements on the bumper come to the fore. On the sides, we are not able to experience the alloy wheel design all that well. Still, the familiar silhouette is recognizable. Towards the end of the video clip, the tail end is shown, where the shark fin antenna is the only clear element. However, going by the international model and recent concepts, the new Seltos will certainly bear the modern design philosophy from the Korean auto giant.
New-Gen Kia Seltos Rendered, Expected To Be 90% Accurate
Updated on 22.10.2025 – A prominent virtual rendering allegedly encapsulates a near-production iteration of the upcoming new-gen Kia Seltos. Seltos has been an extremely successful product from the Korean car marque in India. Remember, it started the operations for Kia in our market back in August 2019. Thereafter, Kia launched cars like the Sonet, Carens, Carnival, EV6, Clavis EV and Syros. Over the years, it attained the title of the fastest foreign carmaker to reach 1 million (10 lakh) sales in just 59 months. The global debut of the new Seltos is slated for the first quarter of 2026. For now, let us take a look at the details of the new Seltos’ rendering.

This image surfaced from koreancarblog on Instagram. The visuals capture a rather professional illustration of the upcoming new-gen Kia Seltos. In fact, the post description mentions that this rendition is almost 90% similar to what the production model will look like. I must admit I don’t have enough information to prove or disprove this claim. In any case, this image certainly encapsulates the latest global design language from Kia. At the front, we witness the striking and sleek LED DRLs on the extreme edges of the bumper with a massive Tiger Nose grille in the centre.
The LED headlamps are neatly tucked inside the extreme corners of the grille with additional LED DRLs. Down below, the skid plate adds a component of ruggedness. We also get a glimpse of the side section with sturdy body claddings, prominent wheel arches, elegant alloy wheel design, faux roof rails, black side pillars, etc. Unfortunately, the tail section is not entirely visible in these images. Apart from that, we can expect the new Seltos to come loaded with the latest tech, connectivity, convenience and safety features.
Expected Specs
This is an interesting aspect since the global model might come equipped with a hybrid mill and an all-wheel-drive configuration. We know that the Indian version has the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine with manual and automatic transmissions. These are borrowed from the Hyundai Creta. I must say that it would be quite interesting to see if the Korean auto giant decides to introduce a hybrid mill to challenge the Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris.

Having closely tracked Kia’s journey in India since the original Seltos debuted in 2019, I can confidently say this model remains the brand’s strongest pillar in our market. A new-generation Seltos will have to do more than just look sharper, it must evolve meaningfully to fend off the growing onslaught from hybrid-powered rivals and an increasingly tech-focused SUV segment. If Kia brings the hybrid and AWD options seen abroad, it could not only future-proof the Seltos but also reaffirm its position as the benchmark in the midsize SUV space.
