What makes it different from the regular engine is the updated fuel injectors, fuel pumps, fuel lines, a recalibrated ECU and an ethanol sensor to ensure that it runs smoothly on ethanol blends ranging from 20% to 100%. That is its main attraction, making it future-proof.
On the other hand, the Tata Tiago iCNG comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated 3-cylinder engine, which generates a considerably lower 75.5 PS and 96.5 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively, in the CNG guise.
