Hero MotoCorp is set to launch many new models. One of the new Hero bikes in India 2016 is the new 2016 Hero Achiever. The launch of the new model Achiever took place today. It is has a base price of Rs 61,800 for the drum brake variant. Highlights of its specifications list include a newย 150cc engine with more power and mileage. The new engine has higher refinement and gets the i3S start/stop technology. The 2016 Hero Achiever launch follows the Splendor 110 iSmart that went on sale earlier this year. The new model Achiever 2016 has a starting price of Rs. 61,800. The Achiever is priced lower to the Xtreme Sports. The new Achiever will target the budget- and mileage-conscious 150cc bike buyers. However, it has enough features to rival bikes like the Pulsar 150. The new bike has a BS-IV compliant engine.

Powering the new Achiever 2016 will be a new 150cc engine. This engine offers 13.6 PS-12.8 Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed Transmission. The new engine is BSIV compliant and benefits from Hero’s i3S start/stop tech. It should have a max. mileage of up to 65 KMPL in real world conditions. Also, the new engine should offer higher refinement than theย older model. Suspension duties will be courtesy ofย telescopic forks up front and gas-charged rear units. The bike gets alloy wheels and a disc brake at front. It is expected to have a 0-60 KMPH timing of less than 7 seconds.

Hero MotoCorp has not revealed official mileage figures. The new model Achiever should offer up to 65 KMPL aided by Hero’s i3S start/stop technology. Itsย new engine will also offer higher refinement than the old model. The new Achiever is likely have the highest mileage in the 150cc segment. Also, the BSIV engine will be a lot cleaner than the old motor. Thanks to its high mileage and refinement, the new Achiever should make for a good 150cc commuter.
