It has come to light that Renault India could be offering huge discounts on the Duster SUV. It’s noteworthy here that the Duster, which was once the segment-leader on the sales charts, hasn’t been able to keep the Hyundai Creta from leaving a huge dent on its sales performance. With the all-new generation Duster expected to launch next year, Ranult India seems to have decided to offer significant discounts to give this aging SUV a shot in the arm. The Renault Duster hasn’t been doing too well of late. Once the highest selling model in its segment, the Duster couldn’t keep the Hyundai Creta from ovetaking it on the sales charts. The Creta has fresher looks, more features, and more modern engines. Renault did try to infuse some freshness with the SUV by coming up with a facelift and more recently, a petrol CVT variant, but it doesn’t seem like the Duster can climb back to the top of the sales charts. It’s being said other than these Renault Duster discount schemes, the manufacturer also plans to reduce the number of variants of the Duster once it launches the Captur. This will be done to avoid any sort of internal rivalry between the two Renault models.

Renault Duster Discount Offers

It’s being said that the 85 PS engine variants of the Duster are being offered with a discont of Rs 1.6 lakh on the ex-showroom price. The top-end Duster 110 PS AWD model gets a neat discount of Rs 2.0 lakh. Other than this, there’s an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 7,000. All this together takes the overall discount to up to Rs 2.17 lakh.

Renault Duster Discount Offers – The Catch!

Okay, there’s a catch to these Renault Duster discount offers. These discounts are a part of the stock clearance exercise and hence, there’s a limited stock of Duster units being sold with a discount. Only 34 units of the 85 PS Duster Diesel and 73 units 110 PS Duster AWD Adventure Edition are up grads under the discount schemes. There’s no offer on the recently launched Duster 1.5 Petrol CVT variant.
