Hosur-based South Indian two wheeler manufacturer, TVS Motor Co., has come with a new special edition of its popular commuter, the Start City Plus. The latest limited edition of this motorcycle comes just days ahead of the arrival of this year’s festive season. It may be noted here that demand for new cars and bikes gets really high during this period of the year and hence, almost every manufacturer try really hard to cash in on the surge in demand to the fullest. The new 2017 TVS Star City Plus Special Edition has gone on sale at an ex-showroom price of Rs 50,534. The new model brings in a range of new paint options that make the motorcycle visually more attractive. Here are all the details on the new TVS motorcycle.

The new TVS Star City Plus special edition joins the TVS Victor Premium Edition as a part of the company’s new product lineup for this festive season.

The latest limited edition model from TVS has an ex-showroom price of Rs 50,534. The manufacturer isn’t charging a premium for the updated paint schemes, which does enhance the value-for-money quotient a fair bit.

There are no mechanical changes for this special model. The motorcycle continues to get its juice from aย 109.7cc, single-cylinder engine that comes mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The engineย outputs a maximum power ofย 8.3 BHP and a peak torque ofย 8.7 Nm. The bike gets telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The rearย suspension is five-step adjustable. Braking dutiesย are courtesy ofย a 130 mmย drum brake at front and a 110 mm unit at the rear. Theย bike gets 17-inch alloy wheels that come shod withย 2.75ร—17 and 3.00ร—17 section front and rear tyres respectively.
