2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 production begins; spotted in ‘Hulk Green’ colour

The production process of 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has begun. A photo of the bike in ‘Hulk Green; colour rolling through the production line has been leaked.

Here, 2019 Bajaj Dominar is spotted rolling out of the assembly line. This indicates that the launch is just around the corner, with units readied to dispatch to dealerships.

In the leaked photo, the new Dominar is spotted in a ‘Hulk Green’ shade. There are chances that it might get a new colour option, additional to the ‘Sparkling White’, which was spotted recently.

Bajaj Dominar is exported to foreign markets too. There are chances that this particular colour might be for export purposes, because a lot of people might not like the Green colour option.

Recently, we got our hands on the first ride review of the 2019 Bajaj Dominar. The YouTuber explained the changes and upgrades in the new version.

2019 Bajaj Dominar gets some visual upgrades that include black alloy wheels, revised rear-view mirrors and new colour options.

Mechanical changes onboard include a repositioned catalytic converter, new USD forks at the front, updated rear suspension and repositioned disc brakes.

The new Dominar will also sport a revised fully digital speedometer, with a new digital screen which displays clock, tripmeter, odometer and some more information.

Reports say that the 2019 Bajaj Dominar continues with the same 373cc engine, but delivers less vibration now. The engine has been tuned to offer better mileage and refinement.

It borrows its engine from KTM Duke 390, but in a detuned manner. The engine in Dominar produces 35 BHP and 35 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox setup.

Currently, Dominar is priced at Rs 1.64 Lakhs (ex-showroom), in a single variant. The new version might demand a premium of Rs 10,000-15,000 over the current prices.

It will continue to compete against KTM Duke 250, Jawa Motorcycles, Mahindra Mojo and RE Classic 350.
