MV Augusta Turismo Veloce

MV Augusta Turismo Veloce has been spotted in India. Most likely, the ADV will be launched by June by Kinetic’s MotoRoyale brand.

The ADV motorcycle department is regularly seeing some or the new model launching in India. The latest addition to the segment will be from the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, MV Augusta.

MV Augusta Turismo Veloce has been spotted in India, reportedly at the showroom of Kinetic MotoRoyale. The middle-weight touring motorcycle is expected to be launched by June 2019.

Currently, MV Augusta motorcycles are sold by MotoRoyale. The India lineup includes F3800 and Brutale 800. The former one is a sportsbike, while the Brutale is a premium naked street fighter.

MV Augusta Turismo Veloce sports a 798cc three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It is capable of producing 110 BHP at 10,150 RPM and 80 Nm of peak torque at 7100 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with Quickshifter as standard.

For suspension purposes, the ADV uses Marzocchi USD forks and Sachs Monoshock. The ADV uses 320mm double floating disc brakes at the front and a 210mm single disc at the back.

In the global markets, MV Augusta Turismo Veloce is available in Standard, Lusso, Lusso SCS and RC SCS variants. Based on the international prices, the pricing range starts from Rs 13.58 Lakhs to Rs 19.33 Lakhs (Converted into INR).

Features onboard include Cruise control, dual-ABS, Traction Control, Riding modes, TFT colour instrument cluster and much more. It is fully loaded with technology and features.

The design language of the bike is of a proper ADV, but from the front, it looks like MV Augusta F3 800. It gets a semi-faired design with tons of muscles and sharp creases over the body. The knuckle guards-integrated-LED blinkers look very up-scale.

If it launches in India, it will compete with the likes of Ducati Multistrada, Triumph Tiger 800 range, Kawasaki Versys 1000 and Suzuki V-Strom. Multistrada is one of the costliest of the lot.

We expect the prices to start off at Rs 14 Lakhs. The ending price cannot be speculated, because we have no idea about how many variants will be launched in India.
