Triumph Tiger XCa launched in India – Get Prices and Details

The top-end variant, Triumph Tiger XCa has been launched in India. It is the most expensive motorcycle from the Tiger range, which starts at Rs 11.76 Lakhs.

Triumph has launched the top-end Tiger XCa in India, for a price of Rs 15.16 Lakhs (ex-showroom India). It is costlier than the mid-variant XCx by Rs 1.13 Lakhs. The other two variants in the lineup include Tiger 800 XR and XRx.

The updated Tiger XCa gets over 200 upgrades to the engine and the chassis. Also, the technology and electricals of the ADV have been majorly updated.

Triumph Tiger XCa uses the same 800cc in-line 3 cylinder engine, that is capable of producing 94 BHP and 79 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox that provides power to the rear wheel via a chain drive.

For different riding styles, the bike gets six riding modes, which include Road, Off-road, rain, sport, off-road pro and Custom. To further enhance the off-roading, Triumph has added a shorter first gear to the bike.

New technology onboard includes full-colour TFT instrument panel with six different styles, handlebar-mounted switches, heated grips and seat, a centre stand and all-LED lighting.

For ease of comfort, the Triumph Tiger XCa is also provided with an updated cruise control, aluminium radiator guard, traction control and Switchable ABS.

For suspension purposes, the Tiger XCa gets 43mm WP inverted forks with 220mm travel at the front and a WP rear monoshock with 215mm travel. It uses 21-inch front wheels and 17-inch rear wheels with dual purpose tires.

Braking is handled by Twin 305mm floating Disc brakes at the front and single 255mm disc brake with dual-channel ABS. Switchable ABS enables it to turn off or o while riding.

It gets a fuel tank capacity of 19 Litres. The kerb weight of Triumph Tiger XCa is 208 kgs. The seat height stands at 840-860mm tall.

It competes with the likes of Honda Africa Twin and BMW F850 GS Pro, which are placed in a similar price range.
