Partial images of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 have been leaked online. Looks like it draws similarity from the SF 250 and the Gixxer 155 as well.

Just weeks ago, Suzuki Motorcycle India launched the anticipated Gixxer SF 250 in India. It is a fully faired motorcycle with an oil-cooled 250cc engine, priced at Rs 1.70 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

At the launch event, the top officials confirmed that the Gixxer 250 will laso be launched in India, later this year. Actually, most of us expect the naked street bike to be available earlier than the faired version.

Now, Motoroids has leaked parial images of the Suzuki Gixxer 250. They give us some idea of the how bike will look like. Likewise, the naked Gixxer 155 will also be launched by the same time.

As you can see, the fuel tank of the bike is huge. The creases are sharp and the tank shrouds also look good. Since it is a naked motorcycle, the engine remains uncovered, but continues with the bash plate.

At the front, there would be no headlamp cowl. Unlike the SF 250, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 will use a single-piece handlebar, but following a similar riding style. The tail portion of the bike will be similar to the SF 250.

The suspension, brakes and the engine specs will remain the same. Gixxer 250 will get the 249cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, that produces 26 BHP and 22.6 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

For suspension, it will use telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. Braking will be handled by disc brakes at both the ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.

Features onboard will include a fully digital instrument console, gear position indicator, odometer, clock, LED headlamps, LED tail lights, Split Seats and a single-piece handlebar.

More images of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 will come as the launch nears. We expect it to go for around Rs 1.60 Lakhs (ex-showroom), to go against KTM Duke 250, Bajaj Dominar 400 and Jawa Motorcycles.
