Royal Enfield has launched a more affordable version of the Bullet, the Bullet 350X, priced at Rs 1.12 Lakhs. Here are some differences between both the variants.
Royal Enfield goes more affordable, as it launches the Bullet 350X. It is placed below the regular Bullet and is likely to help the manufacturer is picking up its sales, which have been going down for the past few months.
It is priced at Rs 1.12 Lakhs for the Kick Start variant and Rs 1.26 Lakhs for the Electric Start variant. Whereas, the Bullet 350 KS goes for Rs 1.21 Lakhs and the ES goes for Rs 1.35 Lakhs (ex-showroom), Rs 9,000 more expensive.
To cut down on the costs, Royal Enfield has just made some design changes. For starters, you miss out on a lot of chrome detailing and instead you get a blacked-out finish on the engine, crankcases and spoke wheels.

The exhaust muffler still continues with the chrome effect and you get a silver finish on the crankcases. Further, the 3D ‘Royal Enfield’ insignia is now replaced by plain graphics. The absence of chrome detailing has fairly helped in bringing the costs down.
It comes with a single-channel ABS, which the Bullet also gets but the Classic and other models do not. However, the Bullet 350X ES gets all the other cosmetic features that the KS variant misses out.
The engine remains the same, that is the 346cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with TwinSpark ignition. The engine produces 19.8 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque, with a 5-speed gearbox.

The suspension setup also is the same, telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged shock absorbers at the back. The 350X comes with a single disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the back.
We hope that Royal Enfield will encash on the Bullet 350X because of the upcoming festive season. In the same price range of 350X, you have the option of RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Suzuki Gixxer SF 155.
