Tata Tiago Wizz Edition

Tiago is going to get yet another edition in its kitty. The Tata Tiago Wizz Edition has been teased and is likely to be launched by this week.

In 2017, Tata launched the Tiago Wizz Edition, which came with minor cosmetic differences, that’s it. It was a Limited Edition variant and was soon discontinued post the festive season.

Now, as per the freshly leaked photos, the Wizz Edition is making a comeback again, but would not look similar to the earlier one. Just like the earlier time, Tata Motors is bringing it in to encash upon the festive season.

Going by the photos, Tata Tiago Wizz Edition will be launched on 4rd October. It gets a new Titanium Grey colour with orange accents on the front grille, ORVMs and the DurAlloy wheels. They are made to look like alloy wheels but are actually hub caps.

There will be Wizz badging on the exterior to further differentiate it. Inside the cabin, there will be contrasting dual-tone treatment to the seats and the dashboard. However, there will be no additional features onboard.

The engine specifications will remain the same, with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.05 Litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 84 BHP and 114 Nm of peak torque, with a 5-speed manual gearbox and AMT gearbox as well.

Come 2020 Auto expo, the Tiago and Tigor will receive a thorough update with new features, revised styling and BS-6 engines as well. Tiago is also available in JTP and the NRG versions.

Tata is also launching the Altroz hatchback this year, as a competitor for the Toyota Glanza, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz. Then in 2020, we will see the Tata H2X micro-SUV and the 7-seater Harrier as well.
