In some exciting news, a man uses a Toyota Fortuner as a roadside dhaba. We have seen countless instances of people using expensive cars as food stalls. In fact, I recently reported a case where a man was using his Audi car to sell tea. Most such cases are just to grab the public attention. Moreover, these visuals create engaging social media content. That is the reason why people do it. This latest case seems to be yet another addition to that long list of instances where people are creating viral content using their cars. Let us take a look at the details here.

This latest case emerges from officialsahihai on Instagram. It captures a rather bizarre occurrence. A man is selling ‘Makki ki roti and sarson ka saag’, a staple in various parts of Punjab. Going by the text on the advertisement board near the car, it is evident that this is somewhere in Punjab. The man even allows the customers to sit inside the SUV. He is using the boot of the SUV to store the eatables. He serves them from there on a nice plate. The owner of this stall even mentions that the price of one plate is Rs 100. Essentially, he wants to cater to the common folk with attractive pricing.

The model this man is using is the first-gen version which arrived in India back in 2009. It had a price tag of around Rs 20 lakh. This is the vehicle which changed the fortunes of the Japanese carmaker in our country. In fact, together with the Innova, these cars transformed their respective segments. What is even more impressive is the fact that both these cars are still the segment leaders. That is a testament to the reliability and popularity of Toyota in general and these cars in particular. Hence, we even see some people using these first-generation cars even today, almost 14 years after their launch.

Such cases are generally great for social media engagement. Even though we keep witnessing such weird cases relatively frequently these days, we must take such videos only as a source of entertainment. We never truly know the exact reasons why people are doing such activities. Still, this also gives us the kind of ideas people possess to set up shops just about anywhere. Whether they are generating revenue through these stalls or social media following and views, it highlights the kind of world we live in and the amount of opportunities all around us at all times.
