Italian two-wheeler manufacturer, Aprilia, has introduced a new entry into the 150cc segment, the Tuono 150. Based on the Tuono semi-faired motorcycle range, the Tuono 150 cc motorcycle is surely a head turner when it comes to the design language. Like the larger Tuono motorcycles, the Tuono 150 has a striking similarity with a lot of aggression in its looks. The well-sculpted fuel tank with the dual headlamp setup. Showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, the Aprilia Tuono 150 is powered by Aprilia’s existing 150cc, 4-Stroke, single cylinder engine that has been seen in the SR 150 as well.

Aprilia Tuono 150 Specifications
The new 150cc motorcycle from Aprilia comes with a motor that generates a maximum power of 18hp at 10,000 rpm and 14Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. In order to cope up with the extreme summers found in the Indian climate, the Tuono 150 also gets liquid cooling. Other standard features include ABS, USD front forks, a monoshock rear suspension.
The Tuono 150 is expected to be introduced in India this year itself, however, the company hasn’t yet confirmed the launch date. Pricing should be in the Rs 2 lakh, ex-showroom range which should make the Tuono 150 a value for money offering. In terms of optional extras, the Tuono 150, when launched in India, will be offered with a quickshifter as well. Both tyres are tubeless and will also have alloy wheels.
