Bajaj Avenger 400 Launch Date and Price

Minimum Rs 1.25 Lakh
Maximum Rs 1.4 Lakh

Bajaj has a habit of pricing its models ultra-competitively. Most of you would remember that the Dominar went on sale at an astonishing Rs 1.34 lakh. Now, it seems like itsย Avenger’s turn to surprise everyone. We are expecting the new model Avenger to go on sale in Rs 1.25 – 1.4 lakh price bracket. The Avenger is currently on sale in 150cc and 220cc engine variants. The most expensive model costs roughly Rs 90,000. Speaking about the Avenger brand,ย a senior Bajaj executive has said:

The Avenger is a very strong and old brand for us. And there is a good amount of brand recall for it. We have been working on an upgrade for the Avenger but we will have to take a call on this at a later stage, we have still not decided anything concrete.

Bajaj Avenger 400 Specifications and Mileage

Engine 373.2 cc, single-cylinder
Maximum Power 34 PS (Expected)

The Avenger will use the Dominarโ€™s 373.3cc single-cylinder engine that benefits from a triple spark technology and liquid-cooling. For the Dominar, the motor outputs a maximum power of 35 PS at 8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. For the Avenger 400, the motor will offer a slightly different state-of-tune. We are expecting slightly lower peak power and higher peak torque to suit the characteristics of the upcoming cruiser motorcycle. We also expect the new model to get ABS, at least an option.
