This is a pretty meaty discount from the standard price of Rs 1,42,785 (ex-showroom, Bangalore). The festive offer presents a good chance to prospective buyers to bring home the EV at a more attractive price point. The MY2023 Chetak has been available with fresh colour options along with modern features that lend it a premium appeal.

Bajaj Chetak Features

Boasting an IP67-rated water resistance classification, the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter ensures safety, no matter the weather. Owners of the EV even benefit from the manufacturer’s widespread service network. Yet another feature of this electric 2-wheeler is the Chetak App, which enhances the scooter’s functionality through smartphone integration. Meanwhile, the all-metal build guarantees higher durability and crash safety. The scooter has an ARAI-certified range of 108 km.

The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is available in – Hazel Nut, Indigo Metallic and Brooklyn Black. Earlier this year, the branded expanded its sales network in a bid to achieve higher sales volume. Bajaj Auto’s domestic sales of Chetak stood at 36,260 units in FY2023. This corresponds to a four-fold growth compared to the sale of 8,167 units in FY22. The improved sales performance comes at the back of reduced semiconductor shortage and the markets opening up post pandemic.

For instance, at a base price of Rs 1.38 lakh, the Ather 450X emerges as a slightly costlier alternative. In fact, it costs Rs 1.53 lakh with the Pro pack. Ola S1 Pro now costs Rs 1.47 lakh. TVS iQube’s starting price point is Rs 1.34 lakh, while its S variant comes at Rs 1.40 lakh. Meanwhile, the Vida V1 Pro carries a price tag of Rs 1.46 lakh. In comparison, thanks to the festive period offer, the Chetak comes across as a great value option.
