Other than the 7 series, BMW is going to launch the big SUV, X7 which is completely an all-new SUV. The BMW X7 is based on the CLAR platform which also underpins several other BMW cars. It underpins the 7-series sedan, the new generation X5, the 5-series and also the X3. Of course, the platform is highly modified to suit each of these cars individually. The X7 is a behemoth of a car. It is over 5 meters longs and weighs about 2.3 tonnes.

On the inside, the sight is much familiar with other new BMW models. The X7 gets the latest interior design language from BMW. The dashboard is flanked by two 12.3-inch screens – one displays the instrument cluster while the other is the infotainment screen.
