Although Honda is offering massive discounts on its last few unsold stock of BS4 vehicles, getting your hands on one of them can be quite difficult due to the coronavirus lockdown.
The BS6 emission norms will be effective in India from April 1, 2020 and all manufacturers are offering heavy discounts to clear out their remaining BS4 inventory. Honda Cars India also have some BS4 inventory left at their dealerships and they too are looking to clear it out as soon as possible. To that effect, Honda is offering discounts of up to Rs 1.25 lakhs on its entire BS4 product portfolio.
The offers are only valid till March 31 or till the stocks last but with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, dealerships have come up with a unique solution to this problem. If any dealerships is left with unsold BS4 stock, what they are doing is that they are registering the car in their or their staffs’ name, making them the first owner. You can then buy these cars as second-hand owners with large discounts but with 0 kms on the odometer of the car. However, with the lockdown in place now and RTO’s closed, if any dealer has not registered a car, it will go in the unsold stock. Thankfully, most dealerships have already sold out their BS4 vehicles.
However, if you still manage to find any BS4 vehicles still on sale, here’s what Honda has to offer. Honda is offering benefits up to Rs 42,000 on the Amaze compact sedan. That includes an extended warranty for 4th & 5th Year worth of Rs 12,000 or 50% off on Honda’s maintenance program, which will cost Rs 8,000. Honda is also offering an additional discount of Rs 20,000 on car exchange worth Rs 20 000.

As for the Honda WR-V and the Jazz, the company is offering cash discounts of Rs 25,000 for a 2019 model year. As for cars with 2020 model year, the WR-V and Jazz can be had with cash discounts of Rs 20,000. The customers will also get benefits of up to Rs 20,000 for exchanging their old vehicle while purchasing the a BS4 Jazz and its Rs 15,000 for the WR-V under the exchange scheme.

The company has even bigger discounts to offer on the unsold BS4 stocks of the Honda City. You can avail benefits of up to Rs 72,000 that includes cash discounts and exchange benefits of up to Rs 37,000 and Rs 35,000 respectively. The discounts climb even higher if you opt the BR-V where you can enjoy benefits of up to Rs 1.1 lakh comprising of a cash discount of up to Rs 28 500 along with accessories worth of Rs 26,500 and exchange discount of up to Rs 40,000. Lastly, Honda’s flagship car in India, the Civic is available with a cash discount of Rs 1.25 lakh along with car exchange discount of Rs 25,000.
