He has also shared personal details from his life. Dharmendra has owned a lot of cars over his lifetime. But recently, he showcased the very first car he purchased on Instagram. As you can see above, the 60-year-old Fiat 1100 still looks beautiful. It was purchased by the veteran actor in 1960 for a sum of Rs 18,000. In a heartfelt video, Dharmendra shared that the car is very close to his heart and he always wants to have the car with him. The actor also remarked that in case things take a turn, he can always use it as a taxi. “Hi friends, my first car. I bought it for ₹ 18,000 only. In those days, ₹ 18,000 was a great thing. I have kept it nicely. Looks good? Pray for it, it should always be with me,” the actor said in a video on his Instagram page.
Fiat 1100
The Fiat 1100 was one of the first cars to enter Indian market. It was extremely loved for a long time and was seen as a status symbol also. You can still see well-maintained Fiat 1100 all around the country. Later, the Fiat 1100 became a huge feature of Mumbai roads as it became the famous ‘kaali peeli’ taxi. The swanky car came with a 1089 cc, four-cylinder petrol engine that offers 36 Bhp of maximum power. It had a 4-speed manual transmission. Dharmendra owns a Fiat 1100 with an Olive Green finish and bronze/ copper inserts. He also seems to have redone the cabin space.

Aside from Fiat 1100, Dharmendra has an extensive collection of luxury cars. This includes the likes of the Mercedes-Benz SL500, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and Land Rover Range Rover SUV.
