Mahindra XEV 9e First Accident

The electric coupe marks a new age in Mahindra’s electric future

The first crash of the Mahindra XEV 9e has been recorded. The XEV 9e boasts the highest safety ratings in the Adult Occupant Protection category at the Bharat NCAP ever. That already makes it intriguing to see how well it performed in a real-life accident. XEV and BE are the new sub-brands from Mahindra for its new breed of EVs. Based on the INGLO platform, the electric SUVs are designed for global markets. Hence, these carry the latest tech and convenience amenities to pamper the customers. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest incident.

First Crash of Mahindra XEV 9e

This video stems from safecars_india on Instagram. The visuals capture the aftermath of a rather severe accident. The electric SUV has sustained heavy damage on the left side. This includes the side fender, the passenger door, the rear door and the area around the left taillamp. It is unclear how this crash occurred. In any case, the side pillar has absorbed the impact well, preventing damage inside the cabin. The side airbags were also deployed. We can only hope that no one got injured in this terrible event.
