Bajaj has launched the Pulsar 125 Neon, which is the most affordable model from its popular series. Here are the top five highlights of the sporty-commuter.
After being speculated for over a year now, Bajaj has finally bought the smallest sporty-commuter, the Pulsar 125. The bookings for the same have commenced across dealerships and the bikes have also started reaching dealerships.
Pulsar 150 is already the best selling premium motorcycle and also the best-selling in Bajaj’s stable. With this new addition, Bajaj could see a spike in monthly sales. The Pulsar 125 is not the cheapest 125cc bike, but it is still a Pulsar.

1. Pricing And Competition
The Pulsar 125 is available in two variants – Drum And Disc, priced at Rs 64,000 and Rs 66,618 (ex-showroom Delhi). At this price, it comes in cheaper by the Pulsar 150 ABS by around Rs 5,000. It goes against the likes of Honda CB Shine 125 and Hero Glamour 125, both priced similarly.
2. Engine
It uses a 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder unit that produces 13 BHP and 11 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The power figures are comparatively higher than what you get on the CB Shine and Hero Glamour. The mileage figures are unknown as of now, but it comes with an 11.5-litre fuel tank.
3. Same Features
Bajaj still continues with the age-old features that come on the Pulsar 150. So you get the single long seat, single-piece grabrail, a rear tire hugger, clip-on handlebar, position lamps, Digi-analogue speedometer and alloy wheels.
4. New Brake Setup
For the first time, a Pulsar is available with drum brakes. Bajaj offers a 170mm drum and a 130mm drum brake as standard and for around Rs 2,000 more, you can get disc brake. Both the variants come with CBS as standard.
5. Colour Options
One of the key highlights of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 is that it comes in three neon colour options:
