The bookings for the new Honda Activa 125 BS-6 have commenced across all dealerships and the deliveries are scheduled to begin by the end of September.
At the launch event of the new Honda Activa 125 BS-6, the company officials confirmed that the bookings for the same have commenced across all dealerships, for a token amount ranging between Rs 1000-5000.
The updated scooter is now available at select dealerships to view and will shortly be available for test rides as well. The deliveries of the same are scheduled to commence by the end of September.
The new Activa is priced starting at Rs 64,790 up to Rs 74,490 (ex-showroom Delhi), and comes in three variants – Standard, Alloy and Deluxe. The prices have increased by Rs 7,500, as expected earlier.

The new Activa 125 is India’s first BS-6 compliant two-wheeler and also one of the earliest scooters to get Fuel Injection system. Honda has also equipped the scooter with ACG starter, which prevents the noise of the engine whilst starting.
It continues with the same 124cc fan-cooled engine but now produces 8.1 BHP at 6500 RPM and 10.3 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM. The Fuel Injection system has resulted in slightly lesser power, but an increase in the mileage by 13%.
Other new features include a new MID on the speedometer with real-time mileage, riding the range and average mileage, external fuel filler cap, side stand engine cut off, Engine Idling Stop system and full LED headlamps.

For suspension, it continues with telescopic forks at the front but now gets a new 3-step adjustable spring-loaded hydraulic at the back. The alloy and standard variant get drum brakes at both the ends, but the deluxe variant uses disc brake at the front.
The new Activa is available in four colour options – Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Heavy Grey Metallic and Midnight Blue Metallic. It competes against the likes of Hero Maestro Edge 125, TVS Ntorq and Suzuki Burgman Street.
