Both these come at a retail price of under Rs 20 lakh. That is a great deal for those looking for a hardcore off-roader without burning a hole through the pocket. However, the key difference between the Jimny and Thar at the moment is that the former comes in a 5-door guise while the Thar is currently available in a 3-door version. Hummer-Inspired Maruti Jimny 5-Door
This digital illustration stems from the creativity of octane9tfive on Instagram. The artist has attempted to make this Jimny look like the iconic Hummer. While that might be a far-fetched idea in the real world, the virtual realm is not bound by physical or logical limitations. Hence, this other-worldly Jimny consists of a butch front end with round headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, vertical slats on the grille, a rugged bumper with a radiator grille and LED fog lamps on the edges and a sturdy skid plate to protect the underbelly of the lightweight off-roader. The hood scoop and the tall bonnet line are reminiscent of the legendary Hummer.

On the sides, there are ginormous wheel arches and white alloy wheels. Interestingly, there are low-profile wide tyres which might not be best-suited for off-roading endeavours. Apart from that, there are utilitarian side steps to enhance the ingress and egress characteristics of the SUV. The side section particularly mimics the boxy silhouette of the Hummer in addition to the window layout. The integrated roof rails accentuate the overall stance of the SUV. Unfortunately, we don’t get to witness the rear section of this enticing illustration.
