Hyundai Motor India joins NIFTY Next 50, NIFTY 100, and key BSE indices, boosting its market presence. Itโ€™s also the only Indian large-cap added to MSCI Global Standard Index.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has been added to several major stock market indices, including the NIFTY Next 50, NIFTY 100, and NIFTY 500 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The automaker, which debuted on Indian stock markets on October 22, 2024, continues to strengthen its position in the financial markets.

Commenting on this accomplishment, Mr. Unsoo Kim, Managing Director โ€“ HMIL said,ย โ€œAs a listed entity, we are elated to cross yet another important milestone. By becoming a part of prestigious Indian capital market indices such as the NIFTY Next 50 and S&P BSEย 500, we have fortified HMILโ€™s standing in the Indian stockย exchanges, reinforcing its market presence and credibility. As India grows, HMIL will continue to grow intrinsically with it, along with a constant focus on driving innovation, improving operational efficiencies, and making strategic investments that will strengthen our business outlook and contribute to the growth of the Indian economy.โ€

In addition to NSE indices, Hyundai has also been included in key Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) indices, such as the S&P BSE 500. This recognition underscores the companyโ€™s growing influence in the Indian market. Further boosting its global standing, Hyundai Motor India was the only large-cap Indian firm added to the MSCI Global Standard Index during its latest review on February 28, 2025. These developments highlight Hyundaiโ€™s strong market presence and investor confidence in its growth trajectory.
