Modified Hyundai Xcent Taxi

Hyundai Xcent is a popular commercial, as well as a private compact sedan that gives a tough challenge to the segment leader, Maruti Dzire.

Hyundai Xcent has been modified heavily in this taxi variant. In fact, this might be the most heavily modified taxi in the country. Xcent has been around for a long time in our market. It has constantly kept the Dzire on its toes. It has been the alternative to the Dzire with a slightly more feature-packed and upmarket cabin at comparable and attractive prices. In the latest iteration, Hyundai has made the Xcent even more attractive with a few design tweaks and flexible powertrain options. But this Xcent owner took it to the aftermarket for modifications.

The video has been uploaded by _vineetgarg_ on Instagram. It shows an insanely modified Hyundai Xcent with a commercial number plate. At the front, there are aggressive headlamps, purple wrap on the bonnet and ORVMs, a modified grille, a prominent splitter to protect the underside of the bumper from pebbles and enhance aesthetics, and tons of graphics and stickers. Apart from that, the side profile is dominated by white alloy wheels that extend out of the sides.

However, the main highlight of the side profile is the yellow wrap in the third quarter, body graphics on the door panels and black tinted windows. At the rear, there is a pronounced spoiler mounted on the boot lid. Additionally, the exhaust has also been modified. We suspect it would affect the exhaust note to make it more throaty. All in all, the exterior of this Hyundai Xcent is unlike anything you’ll ever see.

The crazy modifications continue even on the inside. There is a wrap around the steering wheel with unique materials forming the centre. However, the most interesting bit has to be the gear lever which has been finished in what looks like a unique version of glass. The seat covers, dashboard layout, etc. have all been customised according to the whims and fancies of the driver. All in all, this has to be arguably the most uniquely modified Hyundai Xcent taxi in the country.
