Indian Motorcycles has launched the flat-track racers, FTR 1200 S and 1200 S Race Replica in India, with a starting price of Rs 15.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

After unveiling its price back in December last year, Indian has now officially launched the FTR 1200 S and FTR 1200 S Race Replica in India. The prices start off at Rs 15.99 Lakhs for the S and Rs 17.99 Lakhs for the Race Replica version.

The bookings have already commenced across Indian dealerships across India and the token amount has been set at Rs 2 Lakhs. The regular FTR 1200 is priced at Rs 14.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom pan India).

Both the bikes use the same 1203cc V-Twin liquid-cooled engine, which produces 120 BHP and 112.5 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is offered with three riding modes – Sport, Standard and Rain. Each mode offers a different type of throttle response, stability and traction control and ABS setting as well.

FTR 1200 S is inspired by the championship-winning FTR 750 bike, thus getting all the flat-track racing DNA onboard. It looks a bit like the Scrambler-type roadster as well, with the low-slung seating and a high-set single-piece handlebar.

Features onboard include Bosh Stability Control, Lean-sensitive traction control, a 4.3-inch full digital touchscreen instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, USB port and cruise control.

For suspension, it comes with golden inverted forks at the front and a side-placed adjustable monoshock at the back. Braking is handled by radially-mounted dual-disc brakes at the front a single-disc brake at the back, with customizable ABS.
