In this latest instance, a prominent Indian vlogger offers a walkaround tour of the Honda Inspire PHEV luxury sedan. Rajni Chaudhary is a famous Indian automobile vlogger. In her latest series, she is bringing static reviews of cars from international auto shows. On this occasion, she has the Inspire PHEV luxury sedan. From the outside, the premium quotient is evident. There are sleek LED headlamps with LED DRLs, a massive grille with a generous use of chrome, a fog lamp unit on the extreme edges of the bumper, a sturdy bumper with sporty elements, etc. The front profile looks sharp and elegant. On the sides, I like the subtle 5-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, black ORVMs, chrome frame around the windows, a sloping roofline, sharp creases on the door panels, and more. The rear profile looks decent too with split-LED taillamps, a bootlid-mounted spoiler, and a diffuser under the rear bumper adds sportiness. All in all, this Honda car looks quite stylish and premium.

Interior and Features

The cabin of the Honda Inspire PHEV is quite stunning. You get things like a leather-wrapped steering wheel with controls, a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster with crisp display, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, paddle shifters, Honda Connect, Honda Sensing ADAS functions, smartphone connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a large rotary dial at the centre console to control HVAC and multimedia functions, soft-touch materials on the dashboard, wireless charging, electronic parking brake, 12-speaker Bose music system, Honda park assist, panoramic sunroof, powered seats with memory function, ambient lighting, etc. In essence, it comes with all the bells and whistles.

Specs

In the international market, the Honda Inspire PHEV closely resembles the Honda Accord. Hence, it comes with two powertrain options – a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre plug-in hybrid petrol. The one in the video has the latter. It uses an electric motor and battery in addition to the petrol mill. The total power output stands at a cool 181 hp. This engine pairs with a smooth e:CVT automatic gearbox. Interestingly, the vlogger mentions that it offers an astounding mileage of 65 km/l. That is just insane. However, it is not uncommon among hybrid vehicles. Currently, Honda has no plans of bringing it to India.
