Kia Carnival offers power operated sliding doors for the second row and a plethora of features in its segment.
Kia Motor will launch the Carnival as their second product after the Seltos in India. Kia Seltos has created its name in the Indian market and the mid-size SUV is garnering a whopping amount of sales.
Talking about the Kia Carnival then it will mark its launch at the 2020 Auto Expo. The premium MPV will sit above the Toyota Innova Crysta as it has a load more features to offer and is big in dimensions.
Kia Carnival measures 5,115 mm in length, 1,985 mm in width and 1,740 mm in height and a longer 3,060 mm wheelbase. The Carnival is so big on the outside and inside that, it can be configured into seven-seater, eight-seater and 11 seater. It eats Toyota Innova Crysta to be precise.

Now, let’s talk about what will be present under the hood of the Kia Carnival. It is expected to be powered by a 2.2-litre, four cylinder, BS6 compliant, turbocharged diesel motor. It churns out a massive 202 bhp and 441 Nm of peak torque. Transmission option will stick to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. It is not sure if it will come with a 6-speed MT.
Talking about the features then Kia Carnival will be sold in multiple variants. The top spec trims could come with UVO connect feature. And captain seats for the middle row which will have extendable leg rest and chair arms.
It is also expected to get a premium quality entertainment package with 10.1-inch multiple screens and surround sound system. A large touchscreen infotainment system for the centre console, three zone climate control, two sunroofs, driver and front passenger power-adjustable seat and much more to the list.

Safety feature includes multiple airbags like Dual Front Airbags, Knee Airbags, Side and Curtain Airbags. It will also get Anti Lock Braking System, Electronic Brake Distribution, Brake Assist, Blind Spot Detection System, 360-degree Parking Camera and Rear Parking Sensors as safety features.
If reports are to be believed then the booking for the Kia Carnival might start in mid-January and the car is expected to launch at a price tag of Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
