You would be surprised to witness the kinds of incidents that take place on our roads on a daily basis as is evident from this video.

A weird incident has surfaced on the internet where two men were caught stealing flower pots and loading them up in the boot of their Kia Carnival. These flower pots were kept for the beautification of Delhi NCR for the upcoming G20 Summit that is slated to be held in India between the time period of December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2023. As one would imagine, this is a huge international summit that takes place every year in any of the 20 participant countries.

The video has gone viral and this clip has been uploaded on the official Twitter handle of India Today. It shows two men stepping out of their Kia Carnival, which is a luxury MPV and selecting which flower pots look good on the side of the road. Carefully selecting a few, they start packing them inside the boot of the luxury car until it gets full. Obviously, they were oblivious to the fact that they are being recorded and are about to go viral.

According to ANI, the Joint CEO of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority SK Chahal commented, “It has come to our cognizance and action will be taken against them.” Additionally, the SHO of DLF Phase 3 also confirmed to India Today that they have seen this footage and a thorough investigation is underway. Such incidents are concerning, especially since dignitaries from over 20 countries will arrive in the city shortly. Such cases raise questions about the image of the country.

But the most shocking part is the fact that they are well-to-do people who are using a Rs 40 lakh Kia Carnival to commute. It is fascinating to see how low people can stoop just to save some money on flower pots. It looks like the attraction to ‘free’ stuff is too irresistible for most people regardless of how wealthy they might be. This is a perfect case to prove that.
