Kia Motors has hiked the price of Seltos as it had informed earlier. The Seltos was launched at introductory prices itself and with time, the prices were going to be increased. It now starts off at Rs 9.89 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

The price hike of Kia Seltos is up to 35,000 on the ex-showroom prices. However, the on-road prices are getting higher by Rs 60,000 – 70,000 because of revisions in the taxation. Here is the new variant-wise price list.

Also, for the month of December 2019, Kia recorded the lowest sales figure for the Seltos. After clocking over 9000-10,000 units every month, the manufacturer sold just 4,800 units in December. The sales have declined by over 60%.

Our dealership sources suggest that HTK+, HTX, GTX and GTX+ are their best selling variants. HTX comes with most of the features that are important and available in the GTX+ variant. Amongst all colours, Red and Blue are the least sold options.

Under the hood, Kia Seltos gets all three BS-6 compliant engines. The list includes a 1.5 Litre petrol engine, a 1.5 Litre diesel engine and a 1.4 Litre Turbo-petrol T-GDI engine. All the engines get a 6-speed MT as standard, while the Petrol gets CVT, diesel gets AT and the turbo-petrol gets 7-speed DCT.
