The 4th-generation Swift can be had with a factory-fitted bodykit to make it appear significantly sportier
The Suzuki Swift Sport has been showcased for the international market, albeit with no mechanical changes to the regular model. We know that the Swift is one of the most popular hatchbacks not just in India, but across the globe. In fact, it has been churning huge volumes for the Japanese carmaker for decades now. In some markets abroad, we have seen the hot-hatchback iteration of the Swift, which goes by the name Swift Sport. However, for those who don’t want to spend a fortune to experience their beloved hatch in a mean avatar, the latest Swift Sport will do the trick. Here’s how!
Latest-Gen Suzuki Swift Gets Sport Version
A Japanese tuning company, Awin, has developed a special factory-backed bodykit for the 4th-generation Suzuki Swift. This kit includes a front splitter, side skirts, and a rear bumper extension, all finished in black. Additionally, buyers also get the option to choose additional accessories like new alloy wheels, carbon-look mirror caps, bonnet decals, grille trim, and stainless-steel pedals. These components will be sold via the official accessories catalogue for the Swift. Therefore, you can convert the new and existing Swift into a Swift Sport with just this bodykit and other elements.
For reference, the idea of this bodykit has emerged from the Swift Aero Concept, which was showcased in April 2026. Interestingly, even this Swift Aero Concept borrows inspiration from the sportier Swift Champions Concept shown in January 2025. The production version is sold through the official Suzuki Select Plus catalogue at local dealers in Japan. Note that this step has ensured that the Swift Sport moniker stays alive even though the actual hot-hatch version is not on sale.
Customers who want the sportier aesthetics and road presence can opt for this without having to shell out a fortune. Remember that the powertrain and transmission options remain the same as the regular Swift. This means a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with a mild hybrid setup. It is good for 83 PS and 112 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. We can only hope that something like this comes to our shores in the times to come.

The Suzuki Swift has always enjoyed a cult following among enthusiasts, which is why it is great to see the iconic Swift Sport name continue in some form. While this isn’t a true performance-oriented hot hatch with a more powerful engine, the factory-backed bodykit certainly injects a lot more attitude into the already stylish hatchback. For buyers who love sporty aesthetics but don’t necessarily need extra performance, this package strikes a sensible balance. I particularly like the fact that these accessories are officially available through Suzuki dealers, ensuring proper fit and finish. If Maruti Suzuki were to introduce something similar in India, I am sure there would be plenty of takers among young car buyers looking to stand out from the crowd.
