The Indian compact SUV has been gaining traction in international markets for a while now
The made-in-India Mahindra XUV 3XO has been launched in Costa Rica. The compact SUV is already a popular product in India. It has been competing successfully in the brutal compact SUV segment since 2019 (it was called the XUV300 back then). Despite worthy rivals having emerged in this space, the Mahindra SUV held its own. Even today, it posts decent sales numbers each month. We know that the XUV 3XO has gone international and is already on sale in South Africa and Australia.
Made-in-India Mahindra XUV 3XO Launched in Costa Rica
The Mahindra XUV 3XO comes in three variants for the Costa Rica market – GLS, GLS+ and GT+. The first trim comes with a manual or an automatic transmission, while the others are available with a sole automatic gearbox. In fact, the compact SUV draws power from a potent 1.2-litre 3-cylinder mStallion turbo petrol engine, which generates a healthy 110 hp and 200 Nm of maximum power and torque, respectively. Performing transmission duties is either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. This is a powerful engine for everyday use.
