The newly launched MPV Mahindra Marazzo is much demanded in the market. The waiting period for the MPV has shot up to 6 weeks depending on the chosen colour. The Marazzo starts from Rs 9.99 Lakhs and goes up to Rs 13.90 Lakhs.
Mahindra Marazzo MPV was recently launched in India. It was the first product that Mahindra designed with the help of Pininfarina. Also, it is the first product that is developed by Mahindra Research Valley in India with the help of Mahindra North American Technical Centre in the USA. The latest news that we get is that the MPV has a waiting period of 4-6 weeks, depending on the chosen colour. We have confirmed the news with our dealer sources and they say that this is the minimum waiting period.
Powering the Mahindra Marazzo (Read More) is a 1.5 Litre mHawk diesel engine. The engine produces around 121 BHP of power and a peak torque of 300 Nm. It is currently available only in diesel variant, with a petrol one expected in 2020. Also, the MPV is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission only. The Automatic Unit on Marazzo is expected in 2020.

The MPV is built on a ladder frame construction, but still has a transversely mounted engine that powers the front wheels. The mileage estimated on this MPV is around 18 kmpl, which is a decent figure.
The Mahindra Marazzo comes with features such as dual-barrel LED projector headlamps, cornering lamps, LED DRLs 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, 8-way adjustable driver seat, Cooled Glovebox, leather upholstery and more.

The Marazzo comes with dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, ISOFIX, and emergency call feature as standard fitments. Rear Parking sensors are available starting from the third M6 variant and a reverse parking camera comes in the top-spec trim only. Other safety features include Front and rear fog lamps, Car Theft alarm, Rear Defogger and more.
The Marazzo actually falls between the price range of Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta. Currently, the MPV segment includes Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Innova Crysta and Tata Hexa mainly.

Recently, a report came stating that more crossovers and SUVs will be built on Marazzo’s platform. The monocoque hybrid chassis with traverse engine placement is the new platform spawning the Marazzo. Mahindra states that new crossovers, full-size SUVs and compact SUVs will use this platform.
Currently, Mahindra is left with the full-grown Mahindra Y400 (XUV 700) and compact SUV S201 to launch before April 2019. The home-grown automaker is going to extend the range of TUV 300 and KUV 100 with different variants of both the cars.

Also, it is going to launch a facelift to the TUV 300 and new-generation versions of the Scorpio and XUV 500. These new versions are expected to launch in 2019-20 period.
